RAPID BRICK is a brick panel system aimed mainly at DIY sector. Brick panels , also called brick sheets , consist of interlocking wall panels and corner panels which join seamlessly on a wall. They can be installed on all surfaces provided that correct adhesive is used.  The following features stand out when you consider our brick sheets:

  • Can Rapid Brick panels be installed both externally and internally?

    Yes. Rapid Brick panels can be used both externally and internally.

  • Is Rapid Brick difficult to install?

    Not at all. Panels can be installed even by a DIYer.

  • What surfaces can Rapid Brick be installed onto?

    Panels must be installed onto a solid, even substrate. Examples include: solid wall (brick or block), timber frame with timber sheathing or cement board, insulated concrete formwork or external insulation.

  • Does Rapid Brick require any sealing or maintenance?

    No, it does not. It is virtually maintenance free and does not require sealing. However, sealing will do no harm, and can improve the resistance to contaminants, organic growth or elements. We also supply water-repellent sealers which do not affect the colour of brick, and sealers that create wet-look effect.

  • Is Rapid brick suitable for wet areas?

    Yes, as a natural brick and fibre cement product they are. Please make sure you use the correct adhesive. 

  • Is Rapid Brick resistant to heat?

    All our brick slips and boards are classed as fire class A1 and non-combustible.

  • What is the best way to cut Rapid Brick?

    For dust-free wet cutting, use a wet tile saw. Angle grinder is a second best option as it creates dust. Please remember to use dust mask and glasses.

  • Does Rapid Brick require any mechanical fixings?

    Yes, but only secondary mechanical fixings at heights over 2 metres.  Any fixings should be made of stainless steel and be appropriate for use on subtstrates they fix Rapid Brick to. Please contact us for advice if you are unsure.
